Investment Strategy

Our investment strategies are customized to reflect clients’ objectives.

Historically, we have carefully invested in companies with improving cash flows, priced attractively to their intrinsic value. Companies we invest in tend to have low to moderate debt and are market/product leaders in a strong, improving industries.

Select strategies we can deploy, include:

Large Cap

We buy large cap domestic stocks which are trading below their cash implied value. These companies are profitable and have the ability to continue generating profits. We use these stocks as part of an asset allocation for balanced portfolios or as standalone US equity domestic portfolios.

Fixed Income

We use a variety of Investment grade Corporate and Municipal bonds in our client portfolios. These allocations are decided based on a whole host of factors including the client’s tax situation, risk profile, income needs as well as the spread (relative valuation) between corporates and municipals.

Dividend Growth

Our Dividend Growth strategy provides investors with a focused portfolio of high-quality companies that exhibit strong revenue growth, above-average dividends that are well covered by cash flows and reasonable valuations. The main objective with this approach is to seek increasing dividend income over time and its secondary objective is capital appreciation.

ETFs

Our ETF strategy utilizes a more fundamental buy and hold focus, utilizing indexes like the Nasdaq or S&P 500 for the long term. The benefit of investing in indexes is that they match as closely as possible the overall return of the market. This strategy is a more conservative route focusing on approximately ten ETFs.

Balanced

Our Balanced strategy uses multiple assets classes including US stocks, bonds and cash we construct balanced portfolios to help control risk and or provide a mixture of capital appreciation and income for our clients.
